Trend Watch - What's Hot In the District

 WHAT’S HOT IN THE DISTRICT

Our friends in the District are gearing up for another big year, with a spring launch featuring all-new products from District and District Made. In the meantime, here’s what’s hot in the District and what styles and fashion trends we expect to make an impact in 2014.
JUICED-UP COLOR Citrus hues, vibrant melons and juicy shades are all the rage – and the perfect shades to transition into warmer spring and summer temperatures. Look for neons to continue to be popular, alongside succulent limes, lemons and watermelon shades.

THROW-BACK GEAR Old is new again with retro bags and hats making an appearance on runways in New York, and in neighborhoods around the country. Everything from trucker caps to retro bags are sure to accessorize and accompany more modern looks.

LIVED-IN LOOKS Cool washes and treatments – like faded and dip dye fabrics – give tees their own character and add a lived-in look and feel to t-shirts. These take basic to the next level and offer an excellent option for him and her.

FLIRTY & FEMININE Hi/lo hemlines and lacy details continue to remain a relevant option on fashion for her. Coupled with juicy and vibrant colors, these feminine details can really make juniors and ladies stand out.
